Addiction

Its 7:41 pm, and I'm still listening to the same song I've been listening to since 10:00 AM. The iTune's repeat playlist feature is a very handy feature for people with a penchant for repeating songs.

If your wondering what song it is, its "Ghost Story" by Sting. It has this very haunting instrumentation which will place you somewhere very cold, very eerie and very lonely.

The lyrics is, as expected, very superb, very Sting. Here's something that I wished I was the one who wrote :

What is the force that binds the stars?

I wore this mask to hide my scars.
What is the power that pulls the tide?
I never could find a place to hide.

What moves the Earth around the sun ?
What could I do but run and run and run.
Afraid to love, afraid to fail,
A mast without a sail.

And if you're still inlove with your ex, here's something to woo him/her back

The moon's a fingernail

  And slowly sinking.
Another day begins
  And now I'm thinking,
That this indifference
  Was my invention,
When everything I did
  Sought your attention.

You were my compass star...
You were my measure...
You were a pirate's map...
A buried treasure...

If this was all correct,
The last thing I'd expect,
The prosecution rests
It's time that I confess: I must have loved you.

Well, maybe not. (lol)

Sleep tight.

And send me an angel.

Sinulog ... singgit ug kusog ...

Yes, sinulog is finally over. Three nights of non-stop partying, concerts, red horse, tanduay junior and sexy women are finally over. For all that, I got a muscle pain in my left shoulder which started last sunday and is still hurting now (must be *panuhot*, with all the sweats you generated in that 3 hours nonstop dancing drying in your bareskin).

Jhesshhhh .. was it worth it? maybe.

This got me thinking, sinulog was supposed to be a religious celebration of some sort.

Now, when you speak of sinulog, you speak of "morning the night" parties, endless and bottomless drinking sessions, getting laid by the dozen, etc ...

I'd be a hypocrite if I say I don't like this aspect of sinulog, after all, this is what's making the sinulog event very interesting and the reason why I (*aheeemmmm*) am always looking forward to it.

What I'm saying is that ... hehehe ... I don't really know what I'm saying. A religious event turned orgy is a dime a dozen this days. Not really uncommon.

Anyways, here are some sinulog shots I got ...

starting with my most favorite

 The butterfly kid.

Most of my shots are in sephia coz ... I liked it.

The sinulog skies in sephia.

The dragon kid.

The resting trumpeter.

 The lead dancer.

That's all for now.

I'm gonna post a separate blog entry for my new musical discovery -- IMAGO.
