Of moonlights and windows
Of Moonlights and Windows
It is on nights like this
That I throw stones at your window.
And you look down on me,
Your eyes,
Shining like full moon,
And your timid, shy smile
Freezes me like ice,
While I try to hide
In the shadows
As lights begin to flicker
In your father's room.
Once,
In my memory,
Your eyes shoned
Like the full moon.
And once,
I touched those moons,
And you saw nothing,
But me.
The moon tonight is beautiful,
Like your eye,
On countless nights
In the past.
It stares down on me
From somewhere I can't reach,
Chased,
Then gone.
Now, I have to go home.
