Silhouettes and Sunsets
I am a story of silhouettes in darkness
And scary thunder clouds of blue ...
Of huge boulders in gentle lands ...
And paintings of light in beautiful hue ..
I tell the story of the sunset,
Of lonely souls in search of rest ...
Of dreams of love that can never be,..
In saturated colors and careless jest ...
And while you cast a shadow, I stay ...
My story writes itself ,..
... then sails away.
